Basically- is it worth learning? How does it rank with Python & Django?
I ask because I am on the fence as to which to learn. I am moving away from PHP and want to either learn Ruby on Rails or Python (which would be with Django). My main concerns are AJAX. Django seems to still have some issues but Ruby on Rails looks great... I just don t want to learn the language and 2 years down the line find it to be outdated.
I have a website where I was making calls from my javascript back to the C# code on the server using AJAX calls. This was all working fine until I added form authentication to the site. Now when I do a PageMethods.Test("test") call it throws a 401-Authentication Error. Please pass along any suggestions for this as I am behind schedule and absolutely clueless.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I am calling a PageMethod that is on the same page as the js. Also- I am getting this error as the admin user who has rights to all the pages.

I have 4 siamese kittens 3wks old in a cardboard box out in a small building that was used for baby goats. It has a manure pack under with hay on top. When I moved the box to add another hole because it was getting hot I found a giant ant colony under. I was covered there box was covered but never saw any inside. I got my sprayer from the house with strong dish soap and water(AJAX). I poured the bottle on the colony. Then today I moved the box and they are back under their I did more dishsoap . Will dishsoap fumes hurt the kittens? Their eyes look a little iritated? They have had problems with their eyes previiosly but it had cleared up. What can I use? Someone told me Boric Acid-but it has warnings not to use around domestic animals. It is 100%boric acid powder. I also have diatomaceous earth but have not had good luck with that killing the ants in other places. The ants are bad around here this yr. They are just the tiny black ants. Will they hurt the kittens? I have not seen them on
What would be the best way on an online quiz- using a php/mySQL framwork to make a person - once they ve started the quiz have to finish or get zero s? Zend? Ajax? Ruby? Perl? Just sessions / cookies? (something else?)
(I d like it if they close the browser that it would submit a call as well- and I m thinking that might have to be done with JavaScript)
