Our house is on a 50 x 100 feet lot. but the living space is only 1200 sq feet(both floors included). Back yard is too big to handle. I was wondering if we can build master suite at the back of the house- connected to the family room. what permissions would we need? what about the neighbours? How would we know that we r allowed to do this. This house is in Ajax ON- Canada- it is 20 years old all brick house. It is not a corner house.
Another option is to build a room and a bath room over the living-dinning room. which one of the two cost more? any suggestions ???

I will graduate with an Associates Degree in Web Design and Development in June of 2008 in Oregon City- Oregon. I ve learned a little bit of everything- from designing a site- using Photoshop- Fireworks- Dreamweaver- Illustrator- InDesign- and Flash- to developing it- either with ASP .NET- PHP- ColdFusion- AJAX- or just regular HTML. I have been searching for hours on the internet. I am a complete and total newbie with AJAX so please explain in clear detail. The php page is just an html page with one or two php values in it and it has the .php file end to it. How would I add in a simple and pretty much already setup ajax script into the page to make only one line of php code (which displays the current song a radio station is playing) refresh (without the page refreshing) every minute?

I am thinking about getting a young kitten- but I know that Ajax is going through his puberty or adolescent thing where he is challenging his boundaries- etc...I dont want to set the kitten up to be hurt- nor do I want to impinge on Ajax s feelings of security in the household.
